Banana cake with Lemon frosting

My hubby loooves this cake,  but I only make it when I have over-ripe bananas,  I mean throw them away bananas!!
A. 4 ½ ounces butter B. 1 ¾ cup flour C. 1 cup confectioner’s sugar
    1 cup sugar      a pinch of Baking Powder     1 teaspoon butter, melted
    2 eggs      ½ teaspoon Baking Soda     1 teaspoon vanilla
    3 ripe bananas, mashed      a dash of milk      Lemon juice
     1 teaspoon vanilla      Boiling water

Preheat oven to 350  DSC04482
Cream butter and sugar together and gradually add the eggs, mix well.
Stir in the mashed bananas. 
Sift the dry ingredients in B.  and pour in the butter mixture. Stir together with the milk and vanilla.   Turn the mixture into a baking pan and bake for 45 minutes  
To make the icing   combine ingredients in C.  and spread onto cold cake
